What would you do if you had $15,000 and you could ONLY spend it in the mall?
The other day between classes, I was sitting in my car listening to the radio (because my ipod songs are getting old already 
I just bought songs for it too.) But they were having this contest where you could enter to win $15,000 shopping spree in the mall. It got me thinking…what would I do with $15,000? It couldn’t be put in the bank because I would HAVE to spend it so what would I get??
Well, here is how it would play out.
I would pay the mall to close for the day so I would be the only one there. I cannot stand shopping in malls because EVERYBODY and their brother, mother, sister, half sister, twice removed cousin, brother from another mother, and friend go to the mall. People in the malls are like flies on a lamp; they just migrate there and irritate you.
See all those people in there? I would pay for them to NOT be there. Just the mall and I.
There’s always the insanely large group of teenagers who walk super slow (I’m a fast walker), the screaming kids in the play area, the kid who escaped from the play area with the frantic mother chasing after it, the mall cops on their little scooter things and you always think they’re going to run into you…the list could keep going.
Oh, and I would have to be fed before hand because if I go shopping when I’m hungry…let’s just say it’s not the greatest thing to do.
(^pretty much what I look like when I’m hungry.. 
)
Then I would head to the Apple Store first. At the Apple Store, I would buy myself an IMac
…and a MacBook Pro
Why both? It’s always good to have back up! If I have $15,000 to blow I might as well buy something that I know I am going to use, and something that will be useful to me. I have a PC now which I love but I can tell the difference between Macs and PC’s when it comes to the design programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign). But to be honest, I just love computers. Since I”m going into graphic design, it’d be a wise choice to get another computer if I had that kind of money to spend on anything. The IMac is around $2,500, and the MacBook Pro is around $2,500 also.
So, there’s $5,000 already!
Then, I would head to the spa. No joke. I would get a manicure, pedicure, massage, and a facial. I would usually never do this because the idea of people I don’t know touching my body gives me the heebie jeebies! But the thought of being pampered after this semester sounds like the greatest idea ever
Facial: $70
Massage: $135 for 90 minutes
Mani&Pedi: Lets say $60 (I can’t find the price)
We now have a total of: $5265
What’s sad is that there’s nothing else I would probably do with the $9735 left. Well, okay, I might go crazy and buy a bunch of clothes, different color converse,
oh…I know what I would do. I would raid Delia’s and Express. They have some really expensive clothes but man they are worth it! They are so cute and I love them! I never look at their catalogues because it just makes me mad that I don’t have a ton of money to spend there I’d buy all the clothes I’ve been too afraid to buy because I’ve never worn stuff like that.
I like simple/cute outfits. Like Jennifer Aniston- love her outfits. They’re simple but sophisticated.
I would take some of that money and RAID a bookstore!!!…but they don’t have bookstores in the mall anymore 
That’s all for today. I’m runnin late and I still gotta make myself purty for class.

I love all of your ideas!! That sounds like something I would do too… and while I was there, I would ride the elevator like there was no tomorrow… while wearing a funny hat. Hahaha, yeah but that’s just me!

Hmm I would probably hit up Barnes and Noble and the Disney store with my $15,000.
I like the idea of closing the mall! I’d probably buy the froyo stand. That way I could have all the froyo I want, when I want it! Also I’d probably buy a new bike, a Mac or two… And lots of clothes!
Oh my goodness, yes! I agree – the idea of getting pampered after this semester sounds amazing! Massage, facial, mani, pedi, new hair colour and cut…. and do my make-up so I can go out on the town. (sorry, I got off the mall topic and onto my own there. heehee)
Oh, and on the topic of the crowds at the mall…. I went to the mall recently after years of not. And I have to say… I was thoroughly amused. I am a people-watcher and the mall was like an awesome circus for me to gawk at and clap my hands and giggle. I loved seeing all the different types of people doing their various silly things. And my shopping experience wasn’t such a chore _because_ of all the thousands of people there to entertain me. ^_^
ooh 15,000 bucks?? hmm..that’s a tough one. i am definitely with you on not liking other people in the mall. some people are just straight up annoying haha. and they all seem to gather at the mall
can it be any mall? Because the mall in my dinky little town has like 3 stores. BUT, if it was the mall of america or something, I’d go crazy. I’d definitly raid the apple store first!
Oh geez. This is a toughie! I’d probably hit up Lululemon and Anthropologie, I’m always dying to shop at both places!
Oh my goodness, if I won that much money I would go to Pink, Gilly Hicks, Nordstrom (for the Uggs), Charlotte Russe, H&M. I would have to throw out all my old clothes first.
New wardrobe, new color and highlights, new SHOES. Maybe a new camera
OMG!! I love this idea! +1 to closing down the mall, and then, aside from a sweet road bike and a bike trainer…1. Victoria’s Secret 2. Sephora 3. all the expensive clothes I can’t normally afford! Express, Abercrombie, J.Crew, White House Black Market….lol. I love to shop.

No book stores? What do you mean no bookstores? That’s just…..not right. If there WAS a book store..I would spend it on books, then buy a bunch of bookshelves to put them on , then a nice, deep cushy chair to sit in while I read the books. Otherwise….why bother

I used to hate crowds in the mall, it’s been sooo long that I’ve been to a mall though because of school I’m thinking it may actually not be so bad haha! I will probably change my mind as soon as I see the Christmas crowds! Love your list
Why do you have the best ideas EVER? First I would probably have a heart attack. Then once I recovered from initial shock of having that much money in the mall, I would dash to Louis Vuitton and buy myself a speedy 30 bag. I have a knock off that looks exactly like it, but to have that real beauty omg. Then I’d probably go to Betsey Johnson and buy ridic clothing that I don’t really need, but will throw tea parties in my apartment just so I can wear it. Then I’ll probably raid F21 like it was my job. If I have money left I will get me an Ipad and kindle. And if I still have money after all that then I’ll just go to random stores and buy cute stuff.
The only thing I hate about shopping is when someone hovers around me. I like to shop in peace, plus I don’t really care what others think of what I’m buying. I’m def not one of those girls that has to have her friends look and analyze every outfit in the dressing room.
$15,000 is a lot, I don’t even know if I could spend that much money! I would definitely go on a shopping spree at my favorite stores but also hit up the more expensive stores like the Coach store because I love designer purses! And I would go to the Apple store and get an iPhone because I’ve always wanted one!

Oh man thats a lot of cash! Well since its christmas season I would use it to buy some gifts!! I could get some really great presents with that. Not to mention my mall has a tj maxx in it so I could get tons of stuff for my kitchen
